GetRating integrations
GetRating works with the review sites you already use and can send events to your other tools. This page lists only integrations that exist in the product today, with the plan each one is on.
Review sites: Google, Facebook, Yelp, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor and any URL
Plan: All plans
GetRating sends customers to your existing review pages using their public review links. No account connection is needed for this.
- Built-in presets for Google, Facebook, Yelp, Trustpilot and TripAdvisor, plus custom URLs for industry sites.
- Reviews are written on those sites, not on GetRating. GetRating cannot see or change them unless you connect the account (Business plan, below).
- Use the free Google Review Link Generator to find your Google review link.
Google Business Profile, Trustpilot and Facebook accounts
Plan: Business
Connect your review accounts to read new reviews and reply to them from the GetRating dashboard.
- Connections use each platform's sign-in (OAuth). Access tokens are stored encrypted.
- New reviews can trigger alerts, webhooks and Zapier events.
Slack
Plan: All plans
Post GetRating alerts to a Slack channel using a Slack incoming-webhook URL.
- Paste the webhook URL under Dashboard → Integrations and send a test message.
- Useful for low-rating and new-feedback alerts.
Webhooks
Plan: All plans
Send events to your own endpoint when something happens in GetRating.
- Events: new_feedback, low_rating, feedback_resolved and weekly_summary.
- Requests are signed with HMAC-SHA256 when you set a secret, time out after 10 seconds and are retried up to 3 times.
- Each delivery is logged so you can inspect payloads and errors.
REST API
Plan: All plans
Read the approved public reviews collected through GetRating with an API key.
- Create API keys under Dashboard → Integrations. Keys are shown once.
- Endpoints return reviews with pagination and a rating summary.
Zapier
Plan: All plans
GetRating exposes trigger and action endpoints built for Zapier, authenticated with your GetRating API key.
- Triggers: new feedback, low rating, feedback resolved, weekly summary, external review received and alert triggered.
- Actions: create a review, update a review's status, record a reply and create an alert.
- Set-up instructions and your API keys are on the Integrations page in the dashboard.
Shopify
Plan: Growth and Business (uses email campaigns)
When a connected Shopify store fulfils an order, GetRating can send your active after-visit email campaign to that customer.
- Uses the orders/fulfilled webhook and reads order and customer details (read_orders, read_customers, read_products).
- Review requests go to your first location's campaign. Contact support@getrating.co to connect a store.
Website review widget
Plan: All plans
Embed approved reviews collected through GetRating on your own website with a script tag.
- The widget links back to GetRating with a 'Powered by GetRating' badge.
Frequently asked questions
Does GetRating integrate with Google?
Yes, in two ways. On every plan, GetRating sends customers to your Google review link. On the Business plan you can also connect your Google Business Profile to read and reply to reviews from the dashboard.
Is there a GetRating API?
Yes. There is a REST API for reading approved public reviews, webhooks for events, and Zapier-style trigger and action endpoints. All use an API key you create in the dashboard.
Does GetRating import my existing reviews?
No. Existing reviews stay on the sites where they were posted. On the Business plan, connected Google, Trustpilot and Facebook accounts let you see and reply to new reviews in GetRating.
