Who it is for

Businesses that want customer comments from GetRating on their own site.

What it does

  • Show recent reviews with text from one location, in a light, dark or automatic theme.
  • Choose the source: feedback left on the GetRating rating page (the default), reviews customers published on your GetRating public review page and you approved, or both.

When it runs

  • The widget loads the latest matching reviews each time the page is opened.

How to set it up

  1. Open the location in the dashboard and go to the widget section.
  2. Pick the theme, layout, source and number of reviews.
  3. Copy the iframe or script embed code and paste it into your website's HTML.

Example

A physiotherapist shows the five most recent published reviews on the clinic's homepage.

Limitations

  • With the default or published-only source, the widget only shows 4- and 5-star reviews that include text. The combined source adds approved published reviews of any rating. It is a selection, not your full rating history, and it does not show Google reviews.
  • The default source includes feedback customers left through the rating page form. Tell customers that their comments may be shown on your website, or use the published-reviews source only.
  • A 'Powered by GetRating' badge links back to GetRating.

Troubleshooting

  • The widget is empty: the location has no 4–5 star reviews with text yet, or none are approved for public display.

Frequently asked questions

Does the widget show Google reviews?

No. It shows reviews collected through GetRating for that location.

Why does the widget only show positive reviews?

The widget is built as a showcase: the default and published-only sources list only 4- and 5-star reviews with text. If you use it, say on your page that it shows a selection, and link to your full Google profile.
