Terms
- Review gating
- Review gating means asking only customers who indicated a positive experience to leave a public review, or steering unhappy customers away from public review sites. Google's Maps user-generated content policy prohibits it.
- Review routing
- Review routing means sending customers who agree to leave a review to a specific review site, chosen by a rule such as a percentage split, the location they visited or the rating they picked.
- Google review link
- A Google review link is a URL that opens the 'write a review' box for a specific Google Business Profile, so customers can leave a review without searching for the business.
