What is review routing?
Review routing means sending customers who agree to leave a review to a specific review site, chosen by a rule such as a percentage split, the location they visited or the rating they picked.
Why businesses route reviews
Most local businesses have profiles on more than one review site. Routing lets them build reviews where it matters to them, for example Google for local search and Trustpilot or an industry site for credibility, instead of every customer landing on the same page.
Routing methods in GetRating
A/B mode splits customers between review sites by percentage. Split mode sends each star level to a public site you choose. Links mode shows every customer the same list of review links. 5-star mode opens your public review page for 4–5 stars and shows 1–3 star customers a private feedback form together with your public review links.
Routing versus gating
Routing decides where a review is posted. Gating decides whether a customer is allowed to post one. Routing that still offers every customer a public review option is not review gating.
