GetRating and Shopify
When a connected Shopify store fulfils an order, GetRating queues your active after-visit review request for that customer.
Plan: Growth and Business (uses email or SMS campaigns)
Who it is for
Shops that sell in a physical store and on Shopify and want online buyers asked for a review of the shop.
What it does
- Queue the active after-visit email campaign for the order's customer email.
- Queue the active after-visit SMS campaign (Business) when the order has a phone number.
When it runs
- Shopify's orders/fulfilled webhook, verified with Shopify's HMAC signature.
How to set it up
- Create an after-visit email campaign (Growth or Business) for your first location.
- Email support@getrating.co to connect your store; the app asks for read_orders, read_customers and read_products.
- Fulfil a test order and check that the request appears in the campaign's messages.
Example
A gift shop with a Shopify store asks online buyers for a Google review of the shop after each fulfilled order.
Limitations
- Requests use your first location's campaigns. Per-store location mapping is not available.
- Collects reviews of the business, not product reviews on Shopify product pages.
- Connecting a store is done with support, not self-serve.
Troubleshooting
- No request was queued: check that an after-visit campaign is active for your first location and that the order has an email.
