Getting Started with GetRating

Head to getrating.co/signup and enter your name, email, and a password. No credit card is required — the free plan gives you 1 location and 15 reviews per month to start.

After signing up you'll land on your dashboard. This is where you'll manage locations, view analytics, and access your QR codes and review links.

Click "Add Location" from the dashboard. Enter your business name and paste your Google review link. Not sure where to find it? Search for your business on Google Maps, click "Write a review," and copy the URL from your browser.

You can also add a custom name for the location (e.g. "Downtown Store") to keep things organized if you plan to add more locations later.

By default, customers who rate you 4 or 5 stars are sent to your Google review page, while those who rate 1–3 stars see a private feedback form. You can adjust this threshold in your location settings if you prefer a different split.

Once your location is saved, GetRating generates a unique QR code and a short review link automatically. Download the QR code to print on receipts, table tents, menus, or stickers. Share the review link via SMS, email, or WhatsApp.

Both the QR code and the link take customers to the same review flow — choose whichever fits your customer touchpoint best.

Place your QR code where customers are happiest — at checkout, after a service, or on the receipt. The best time to ask is right after a positive experience. Most businesses see their first Google review within the first week.
